prom round 2

my beautiful cousin courtney got asked to her second prom.  

that's a total of about two proms in two weeks...you do the math.

she's popular, that one.

the last time i did her hair, we did a trial run and prepped for the big day. 

today, it was all on a whim.

i think it turned out alright.

   

Anna's Bridals

My best friend, Anna, got married last summer! Warning: you are about to get very jealous of me because I have the most gorgeous friends. These photos were taken by the masterful Travis J Photography (who, by the way, I would recommend not only because of the stunning pictures he takes, but also because he was hilarious).

You know how makeup artists will sometimes say, "It wasn't hard to make (insert name) look beautiful!"? Sometimes it's a lie. But it reaches a whole new depth of truth when applied to Anna. I don't think putting makeup on improved her ridiculously photogenic face in the slightest.

Angela - Bridals and wedding

I did this cute girl's makeup just this morning! She came into Nordstrom months ago to try out some bridal looks and I guess she liked the way I did it, because she hired me!

Courtney - Junior Prom

One more for today! My best friend McKenzie (the hair wizard of this blog) has a pretty beautiful family, including her banging 16-year-old cousin, Courtney. We were lucky enough to be her stylists (Hunger Games style) for the biggest event of her high school years - Junior Prom.
